The International Magnesium Association (IMA) is pleased to invite abstracts of papers proposed for presentation at IMA’s World Magnesium Conference, 15-17 May 2019, in Budapest, Hungary.
The IMA Program Committee is pleased to invite abstracts of no more than 150 words for a proposed presentation. Abstracts are invited from around the world to address all topics related to metal magnesium.
Presentations are being sought on the latest developments in magnesium industry including new or improved materials, processes, applications, markets, recycling, fundamental research, emerging technologies, and all other topics related to magnesium. Papers of the selected abstracts will be published in the World Magnesium Conference Proceedings. Presentation of papers at the event will be 20-25 minutes each, with 5 minutes allotted for questions and answers.
Suggested topics for papers to present at IMA's World Magnesium Conference include, but are not limited to:
DESULFURIZATION & FOUNDRY INDUSTRY
HEALTH, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENTAL CONSIDERATIONS
MAGNESIUM REDUCTION PROCESSES AND PROJECTS
If your abstract is selected, you will be notified of the decision in November 2018. You will be invited to submit a paper based on the approved abstract. Acceptance of your abstract does not guarantee acceptance of your paper. Specific guidelines for preparation of your paper will be provided at the time of abstract acceptance, along with audio/visual guidelines for your presentation. Final manuscripts are due no later than March 16, 2019. Failure to provide your paper by this deadline may result in cancellation of the presentation.
