USITC made an affirmative final sunset review anti-dumping determination for industry injury on pure granular magnesium imported from China for the third time

On February 2, 2018, USITC made an affirmative final sunset review anti-dumping determination for industry injury on pure granular magnesium imported from China for the third time, believing that revoking the existing anti-dumping duty order on imports of pure granular magnesium from China would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury within a reasonably foreseeable time. 4 commissioners voted in the affirmative, so the existing anti-dumping duty order on imports of this product from China will remain in place.

On November 14, 2000, USA initiated anti-dumping investigation on pure granular magnesium imported from Israel, Russia and China. On September 27, 2001, it announced the final determination on the investigation.On October 2, 2006, USA conducted sunset review anti-dumping investigation on pure granular magnesium from China for the first time. On February 1, 2012, it made sunset review anti-dumping investigation on this product from China for the second time. On September 6, 2017, USA initiated the investigation for the third time. On January 9, 2018, US Department of Commerce released rapid final sunset review anti-dumping determination on pure granular magnesium from China for the third time.
