  • Thixomolding is similar to that of injection molding for plastics and is an alternative for hot chamber die casting for thin-walled lightweight parts
  • The Thixomolding process uses less casting energy and uses magnesium chips as input material
  • castwerk operates the world's largest Thixomolding machine (1.250 ton) and is able to produce lightweight parts for large automotive cockpits, as well as footboards for e-scooters and engine parts for e-bikes.
